When I was a little girl, I use to wonder what life was all about. I often envisioned myself lying down in a beautiful field of flowers and trees–staring up into the vast universe and wondering about its existence and mine. I did not know the Lord, but I knew there was something–something beyond what my human eyes could see! The vastness of the universe, the sky, my life–all spoke of a higher being, something beyond my comprehension! Even as a child, I would often wonder, “Why have I been placed here? Is there a blueprint–a purpose for my life?”
We all have purpose and kingdom destiny while we are here on the earth. The book of Jeremiah states that God had a plan for my life before I was formed in my mother’s womb. (Jeremiah 1:5) That plan, that destiny, for my life could not be fully activated until I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior and came into full agreement with God’s Word (the Bible) and the Word made flesh, Jesus Christ. I was a ministry elder and leader in my church in Virginia before I left. (They still see me as part of their leadership whenever I go home to Richmond, VA.) I am an experienced school administrator with a doctorate in educational administration and a published author. I have four children, two sons and two daughters, three grandsons and a son-in-law who has been a God-send in helping me to set up and maintain my website and blog.
I can truly say that God is not through with me yet! I still have miles to go on this journey of fulfilling my God-given destiny. He has a destiny and plan for you, too, my friends. Come, let us explore and develop the unlimited kingdom blessings that God has made available to us through His Word and the Holy Spirit! Also, as children of God, let us tap into the bountiful resources that have been stored up for us on this earthly journey!
