Beloved, as we enter the year of 2024, begin to seek breakthroughs for you and your families, for other Christians, for God’ church, for the unsaved, for this nation and other nations. Believe through faith that this is a breakthrough year. Pray this prayer over yourself and your family.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank you for this new year. As I enter into your throne room of grace, I ask for forgiveness of any sins of commission or omission, in Jesus’ Name. With my sins forgiven, I can enter your throne room boldly by the Blood of your dear Son, Jesus.
I thank you for a breakthrough year of salvation and revival in the hearts of my family. I thank you for leading us in the path of righteousness for your namesake. I thank you that we will fulfill our kingdom purposes. I thank you for total healing, in our spirits, souls and bodies. You said in James 5:15 that the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick and that you will raise them up. I receive that I and my family are being raised up this year from all sickness in our bodies and wounds to our hearts and souls. I am reminded that on that cross you said, “It is finished.” You have already paid the price and won the victory, not just for our sins, but also, for all of our sicknesses and diseases. It is by your wounds that we are healed. I and my family can walk in that healing victory in 2024! Thank you Jesus!
You are my beacon on a shiny hill, Lord Jesus, and I thank you. I pray, by your grace, that I and my family will seek you more this year. When I am weary and burdened down, I will choose to cast all my cares upon you. I will choose to give you my heavy burdens and take yours for your yoke is easy. Thank you for your love for there is no greater love than the price you paid for my sins. There is no greater love than your laying down your life for me and my family on that cross at Calvary. I choose to follow your spirit of love and obedience. You looked down on that cross and said, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” You are my example of how to forgive. You said in John 16:33 to “take heart and not be troubled for you have already overcome the world,” so, I choose to trust in your faithfulness and walk in your peace that passes all understanding.
Thank you for leaving me an Advocate, the Holy Spirit. Jesus , help me to lean in more to the guidance of Holy Spirit this year. Don’t let me neglect that still small voice, that urging, from my Counselor, my Teacher and my Comforter. Teach me, Holy Spirit, to utilize my spiritual gifts and walk in my divine calling.
I declare breakthrough faith to usher in a newfound urgency to be about your kingdom purposes in 2024. Give me an intercessor’s heart, Lord, to pray for the church. Show me how to pray breakthrough prayers that tear down demonic strongholds of deception and idolatry in the Body of Christ. Remove false prophets and wolves disguised as pastors and shepherds in your Church, in your Name, Jesus. Give me a fervency to intercede for the unsaved, the physically ill, the homeless, the imprisoned and the the mentally impaired. Give me your heart and your prayers for this nation and its leaders and for other nations. Show me how to pray against the enemies’ attacks on the suffering people in various nations, like Israel, Ukraine, Haiti, Nigeria, Palestine and other imperiled nations and regions.
I receive your goodness and your mercy, Jesus, and I thank you for gracing me with another year. I thank you for allowing me into your throne room of grace today, Heavenly Father, and I pray that your will and kingdom purposes will be done here on earth as it is in heaven in 2024, in the Name of Your Son, Jesus.
Be blessed, my friends and I stand with you in believing for your breakthroughs in 2024, in the Name of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
