Divine Connection

I awakened this morning thinking of my divine connection—Jesus. A divine connection is a godly connection, a connection that has a providential origin or root. We cannot thrive without it. It’s like an electrical cord —if that cord is not plugged into an electrical outlet, it is useless. If that cord is frayed or compromised, it will not connect with its power source, electricity. I am powerless without my divine Source and so are you.

When I was without my Jesus, my divine connection, I was useless, even though I thought I was okay. Like that electrical cord, I had all the correct natural components to work, but without being plugged in, I was powerless. I needed my spiritual connection, my dynamo, my generator. Psalm 62:5 states that all that I even hope for comes from the Lord.

We must stay connected to Jesus. And the precious Holy Spirit is the plug that provides that dynamo connection to Jesus. “All things originate with Him and come from Him . . . ” (Romans 11:36)

All that I need or will ever need is met when I tap into my Source. Ephesians 1:3 says that our Father and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ blesses us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly realm when we are divinely connected to Jesus. Every gift, anointing and spiritual power is through our divine connection with Jesus.

Plus, all the resources we need to live on the earth are readily made available to us through our divine connection. He daily loads us with benefits. (Psalm 68:19) He supplies a surplus of prosperity. (Deuteronomy 28:11) He guarantees a blessing on everything we do and will fill our storehouses with grain. (Deuteronomy 28:8) He will defeat our enemies. (Deuteronomy 28:7)

My friends, nothing else matters and nothing else will do anything for us.

I pray that you are plugged into the Source of all things. If you have not, repent of your sins and ask Jesus to come into your life as Lord and Savior. If you are born again, make sure that your connection is not frayed or compromised.

Be blessed.
