Dear Heavenly Father,
You are the “Great I Am”—the Lord of the Universe. How majestic is your Name in all the earth. The awesomeness of your presence takes my breath away. I seek your face each day with a joyful heart. You and you alone can bring that peace and joy that fills me with gratitude. Your mercy and grace are new every morning.
How I long for a purity of heart that can be found only by emptying myself and resting in your presence. Cleanse me from all unrighteousness and renew a right spirit in my heart. Open my eyes that I may see the beauty of your holiness. Open my heart that I may receive your bountiful love. Lead me in the path of righteousness and your kingdom purposes all the days of my life.
I ask this in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, your Son and my Savior. Amen.
