Repentance Is Long Overdue

I must repent for not declaring what God has given me to say over the years. I repent for placing my fear of man/woman over my fear of the omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient God. God has not now or ever “given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)

Fellow Christians, we need to guard our hearts today because the church is grieving the heart of God! Christians are attacking other Christians—their own brethren— because they disagree on how to solve the issues facing our church and the country. When believers are pitted against each other, we lose sight of the commonality which binds all of us—a belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Some Christians are even looking to and placing their faith in fellow human beings rather than seeking God to solve the spiritual and national issues that face us today. All the while Satan, the source of all evil, is raging and wreaking havoc over this country, the world and even the church.

Christians will not reach the multitudes who do not know Jesus (as we are called to do), nor gain the victory over rampant sin or over a deadly pestilences ( like COVID-19) by fighting each other and by putting our fate in the hands of a political party or another earthly! Church of God—pledging allegiance to, worshipping and looking to another god, created by human being is idolatry! “You shall have no other gods before Me” says God in Exodus 20:3. God has a great deal to say about idolatry throughout the Bible. Those who are seeking anybody, anything or any source other than the Lord for answers to the issues facing this country and even the church, need to repent of their idolatry!

The Body of Christ needs to realize that Satan is our spiritual and mortal enemy. Ephesians 6:13 states that “we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Other Christians are not the enemy—Satan is!

Christians must pray strategic prayers to fight the demonic forces that are raging against God’s church, this country and the world. That means looking to the Lord, the Source, Author and Finisher of our Faith, not to earthly beings, to get our marching orders. It means putting on our spiritual armor (Ephesians 6), praying and fasting for discernment and wisdom so that our prayers are not soulish and fleshly. It means praying without ceasing in the Holy Spirit. It means praying God’s Word back to him and having the faith to stand! It does not mean railing against and cursing other Christians. It means using discernment and wisdom to target the real enemy—Satan and the demonic forces of hell.

Remember fellow Christians, it is not about you or me or any other earthly being and it is not about any earthly agenda. God’s agenda—his thoughts are not earthly, neither are his ways earthly. God’s ways are higher than any human being’s ways and his thoughts are higher than any human’s thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9) It is all about God who can and will defeat all evil. Our weapons are mighty only through God—to the pulling down of satanic strongholds. (2 Corinthians 10:4)

Be blessed and let God be God!

Amen! It is sad to see the divisions among Christians. The Great Commission is being compromised. Hell is expand while political zealots with a Cross declare that Jesus only cares about abortion and sexual immorality. I believe the Church will need to brace itself for the Lords Judgement. There will be a faithful remnant that will arise. A political party never saved anyone’s soul , only Jesus Christ. I am praying for the Salvation of those in leadership. Those who are saved and fellowship with Jesus will champion the things of the Lord. We had 4 years to witness what happens with political idolatry and unbridled sin. Christians have Trumps blood on their hands. 20 + pastors laid hands on him and he was still unrepentant, had no fear of God, and slander the name of the Lord. Yes this is a time to repent.
